March 22, 2008: We received 5 inches of new snow on top of our existing 3 to 4 inch hard base. Our ski trails are in very good condition. Our 6K loop of Hawks trail, Hawks run, and Rabbits trail groomed today for skating and classic. Conditions are excellent for some late season skiing.
Our winter and spring specials include HALF-PRICE RATES for mid-week stays (Monday - Thursdy nights), HALF-PRICE RATES Sunday night if you stay Friday and Saturday nights, 20% large group weekend discount for groups of 20 or more, & special 2-person discount of 25% in a 2-bedroom cabin on Friday and Saturday nights. See the University of Minnesota snow depth map (link provided below) for snow depth reports. We are located in northeastern Becker County which is west of Leech Lake. The March 20th map shows us in a medium blue zone of 4 to 8 inches. We have 5 to 6 more inches fresh snow on top of this.
