SCROLL DOWN FOR RECENT PHOTOS!!! November 10TH, 2010: Wow half way through our 2010 Deer Firearm season and so far the weather has been like late summer time. Even with the warm weather slowing daytime deer movement hunter is camp at the resort are reporting fair results. We have seen a few really nice size bucks both body and horn wise. One report that we have heard from a few different hunting parties is the difference in deer sign and type. One area full of scrapes and rubs and then another area close by does running with the young ones. With cooler weather in the forecast for the upcoming days deer movement should be a lot better; however with the weather we have just experienced it is impossible to enjoy the day out in the forest. With some of the best grouse hunting in the country, there are thousands of acres of public land on which to hunt. Big game hunting for deer and bear is also excellent

Rainbow Resort has access to three lakes and a river for you to fish on. Fish can also be caught right from the dock. The very clean & clear spring fed lakes are at the beginning of the headwaters of the Otter Tail River system. The lakes offer very good fishing opportunities with a variety of fish species including pan fish, crappies, large mouth bass, perch, northern and walleye pike, bull heads & rock bass.

October 11TH,2010: Limit of grouse while hunting out of Rainbow Resort.

Bird hunting October 2009: We are located on the north boundary of Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge and surrounded by thousands of acres of public land. Perfect for grouse and duck hunting.

June 25Th; 2010: This 27" walleye was one of a good number of fish caught this past week.

June 23rd; 2010: Not a bad stringer of fish Mike. The pike and bass will give a person a real challenge.

Fall fishing is great time to catch northern pike, large mouth bass,crappies and panfish. With stable weather walleye fishing picks up as well.
