SKI TRAIL REPORT

Check out our trail photos!

***************SCROLL DOWN FOR PHOTOS***************

March 22, 2008: We received 5 inches of new snow on top of our existing 3 to 4 inch hard base. Our ski trails are in very good condition. Our 6K loop of Hawks trail, Hawks run, and Rabbits trail groomed today for skating and classic. Conditions are excellent for some late season skiing.

Our winter and spring specials include HALF-PRICE RATES for mid-week stays (Monday - Thursdy nights), HALF-PRICE RATES Sunday night if you stay Friday and Saturday nights, 20% large group weekend discount for groups of 20 or more, & special 2-person discount of 25% in a 2-bedroom cabin on Friday and Saturday nights. Take advantage of our Wild Wednesday weekend specials by calling on Wednesday or later in the week for our specials for the coming weekend.

Day ski passes are only $10 per person and $20 per family. ***Day ski passes are provided FREE with cabin rental.***

See the University of Minnesota snow depth map (link provided below) for snow depth reports. We are located in northeastern Becker County which is west of Leech Lake. The March 20th map shows us in a medium blue zone of 4 to 8 inches. We have 5 to 6 more inches fresh snow on top of this.

Visit the University of Minnesota's Weekly Snow Depth and Snow Depth Ranking Maps.

March 13th; 2008: As of 2:00pm this afternoon we are at 40*F above and still have some snow on the ski trails for spring time skiing. This past week has done it's damage with our tree effect warm ups however we still are an option for late season. You might want to bring your best and older skis just in case. The weather man is predicting temperatures in the low 30's to upper 20's above this weekend so we could end up with some fair skiing conditions.

March 13th; 2008: All trails are an option for spring time ski conditions and if the weather cools tonight I may go out and rake the skate surface and see if a new track set is an option.

March 5th; 2008: Pristine white snow with a perfect baby blue sky makes for a glorious day in the woods.

March 5th; 2008: Coming down the slope on the 3K classic only trail is a adventure in itself.

March 5th; 2008: Winding along Brush Cat by the Rainbow Pond makes for an interesting ski because of all the different sights.
